On March 7th, 2020 my friends and I went to the Microsoft store at Easton mall in Columbus Ohio. It was there where we presented Gamers Academy to try to get a sponsor. After we did our presentation Microsoft said we have the most advanced gaming competition in the city. Also, they became our first sponsor and we were super excited when they wanted to work with us.
But when Covid hit we lost Microsoft as our sponsor. Also before Covid, we were about to get a sponsor with Mods Pizza. We didn’t let that discourage us from continuing our gaming competition. Through this pandemic, we made our gaming competition 5 times better.
We improved our merchandise, game plan, our letters to get sponsors, etc. No matter how hard it got we kept on grinding and the job is not done yet. Through Gamers Academy we want to show the world that we can unite people from all races together from gaming. The making of this gaming competition brings new opportunities.
Like it can come with fame, fortune, creating new hobbies and careers
from competing in our tournament. Also a chance to get sponsors of your own as well. Gamers Academy benefits everybody from the founders, staff, sponsors, and the players.
