Welcome to our About page. Here’s where you can learn about how Gamers Academy was born and the different types of games you will play. Also, you will learn about the physical aspect of our gaming competition. Another thing you will learn about is the tournament flow, which means the process of how it will play out. Tournament flow –

  • Have 100 teams in each age group
  • In each age group, the 100 teams will be split up into 50 teams at each conference.
  • The team who wins in their conference will face the other team that won in their conference.
  • We will have a half-time discussion on the two teams that played in the first half.
  • We will talk with our sponsors before we start the tournament
  • It will be a best out of 8 games
  • The first to win four matches wins the round
  • The physical part will be one of the matches you will compete with the team you are going against
  • There will be 3 to 4 matches in one day.

Physical Component-

  • Marines Physical Fitness Test
  • Special Forces test
  • Airforce Training

Marines’ Physical Fitness test –

Ages 10-13

  • 15 push-ups
  • 15 sit-ups
  • Climbing walls 
  • 10-yard run

Ages 14-17

  • 50 push-ups
  • 50 sit-ups
  • Climbing walls (military walls)
  • 1-mile run

Ages 18 and up

  • 100 push-ups
  • 100 sit-ups
  • Climbing walls
  • 1-mile run

Air-Force Training –

  • All ages
    • Flying drones through an obstacle course and you have to race against the opposite team to win
    • The team with the fastest times through the obstacle course wins.
    • How this will work is that each team will choose a member of their team who they think will have the best chance to win the race

Special Forces Fitness Test –

Two teams fly in on military helicopters to their designated area It will be a team deathmatch The first team to eliminate the other team’s players wins, and you eliminate a player from another team by shooting them three times. The two teams will have a 5-minute timer; by the end of the match, whoever has more team members left wins.
